Musashi Book Series

Eiji Yoshikawa is a respected fiction novelist. Musashi is a classic samurai novel about a medieval samurai in search of his destiny. An unforgettable saga, the story outlines Musashi’s trepidation in life and his work towards achieving his ultimate goal, honor.

I relate to this book series in the same way that Musashi reinvents himself. For the covers, I wanted the cover to have a cohesive theme and abstract elements. The first cover are birds circling a red sun. The second book cover is an orchid I created using Adobe Illustrator. The third book is a paint brush stroke I tried to resemble a sword strike.
